Extended Manhattan Weekend
Me and my wife took a few days vacation to take a quick trip to New York. The plan was to do nothing! No touristy stuff at all. This being the seventh and eighth (for me) time in the Big Apple we didn't feel like we had to do anything but just hang around in the greatest city in the world!
As always, when travelling from Europe, you get really tired the first night. Our plan was not to go to bed before 10 PM. After checking in at the hotel we went to Tick Tock for a quick bite to eat. Not great, but close to the hotel and always open.
After food we took a walk up to 45th street before we couldn't take it anymore and headed back to the hotel where we instantly fell asleep.
The next couple of days we visited B&H Photo a couple of times, had a great burger at BareBurger - pay them a visit if you're around, tried to get into PDT, which proved to be impossible, hung out at several other bars instead and had some nice italian at food at Aria on Perry street.
Since our last visit in the U.S. we really took a liking to Panda Express... I know, it's fast food, but it's nice and way better than McDonalds. We also had time for Macy's, Forever 21 and - one of the big higlights of this trip - Miss Saigon on Broadway.
Our first Broadway show ever. We didn't really know what to expect, but it was really great and somthing we'll do again next time we'll visit. We hadn't planned for any shows but we got help from Broadway on 8th that helped us out swiftely and got us exactly the seats we wanted - Bravo!
